MOSES LAKE, Wash. (AP) — A Moses Lake school is closed today due to an outbreak of a stomach flu that has sickened nearly a quarter of the students. The Grant County Health District tells KREM that the school district will disinfect surfaces at Longview Elementary.

Seattle Police Admit No Video of Fatal Shooting in February

SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Police Department has acknowledged that it doesn't have any video of an encounter in which officers shot and killed a mentally disturbed man in February. The department says some police cars had their dashboard cameras running, but none of the cameras captured the scene.

Cougar Captured in Vancouver, WA Backyard After Dog Alerts Owners

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — Wildlife agents captured a cougar early today in the backyard of a Vancouver home. KGW reports the homeowner heard his dog barking, looked out the window and spotted the cougar in a tree. Wildlife agents shot it with a tranquilizer and hauled it away in a cage.

Man Who Stripped in TSA Protest in Portland Expects Fine to Be Upheld
