Flu Near You Map and New Facebook App Can Discover Who Made You Sick

The flu is in full force across the country and now you can “follow the flu” and report your own symptoms on the website Flu Near You.   Check out an interactive map and some great advice on how to prevent the flu such as getting a flu shot, covering your mouth, washing your hands, using hand-sanitizer and staying home when you’re sick!

Also, check out this app available from Facebook for germaphobes. The app will tell you when your friends post anything that symptomatic. For example, if Lacey posts she has a “really horrible sore throat,” I get alerted and put her on my No Fly List for two weeks.
