Former Seahawks QB to Donate Brain to Important Research
A lot of people say when you purchase life insurance, you're making a brave decision. Facing your death is rough, but it happens to all of us.
Hats off to 3x Pro Bowl quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. Hasselbeck who led the Seahawks to Super Bowl XL during his 10 seasons for Seattle, will donate his brain to CTE research after he dies.
Concussions have been prevalent in football from the beginning. Only recently have we been made aware of the severity of CTE. Junior Seau took his own life after suffering from CTE. Jim McMahon has had so many concussions he forgets what he's doing in his own kitchen.
Matt Hasselbeck is doing a very honorable thing by pledging his brain to research.
