Things in Seattle never seem to amaze us. Now, this.

One of the people who appears in a video being used to promote Proposition 1, or Prop 1 as it's known on the West side, was accused six years ago of jumping on a Highline (Seattle area) School District bus and telling students she had a bomb!

Ubax Gardheere, of SeaTac, WA, was charged after she was arrested for jumping on a bus bound for Chinook Middle School January 12, 2010. She told the students, according to the Seattle P.I. that the driver needed to call the dispatcher because there was a "national security incident going on."

She then began to berate and scare the students, yelling at them about the U.S. relationship with Somalia. When she was asked to get off the bus, things turned violent, says the P.I.  She threatened the driver and children, saying she might have a bomb hidden under her "loose clothing."

She then began to call some of the children who fled out the back of the bus "cowards" for running away. While no weapons were found on her, she told Snohomish County Sheriff's she was "prepared to die."

She was charged in court with threats to bomb or injure property.

Now, 6 years later,  this same woman appears in a video produced by Mass Transit Now, who want to connect even more of the Seattle-Tacoma-Everett and surrounding area by extending the Light Rail project much further. She is referred to in the video as a 'social justice advocate.'  Apparently they forgot to include 'accused felony bomber' in her video title.

Ironically, a search of Seattle media and police records doesn't show the outcome of her charges. She's largely described as a 'social justice' advocate who works for a variety of groups in the Seattle area.

She is included in the video below, from Mass Transit Now, via YouTube.
