When it was announced that DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), will there was a panic that rose across the country. Many people had to look up what DACA is and who it effects. It's a program that granted a form of temporary protection from deportation known as “deferred action” to undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. before the age of 16, resided in the U.S. since June 2007 and met other requirements. With the end of this program set to for March 5, 2018, many people are wondering what will happen to their neighbors, family, friends or them self.

There will be a community forum on September, 25th in Pasco at Flamingo’s Party Hall at 3521 W. Court Street to discuss the possibilities and what this change means. There will be an immigration lawyer there an answer questions, and speakers will discuss the current state of DACA and what's to come. The forum starts at 5:30 and is open to the public.
