Police in Norcross Georgia report a 17 year old teen tried to replicate Santa by shimmying down a chimney in an attempt to rob a home–but got stuck.

The unnamed teen was apparently stuck in the chimney for more than ten hours, as the homeowner was away from the dwelling.  Police report the boy was freed about 1:30pm Tuesday afternoon after a neighbor heard yelling coming from her neighbor’s chimney.  The boy had been stuck in the flue for at least ten hours, according to reports.   Police said he was charged with burglary and giving false information to a police officer…no doubt landing himself on Santa’s Naughty list!
