As long as your excursion doesn't take you beyond the borders of the state, it's now ok to get high, while you're getting high in Oregon.  Ok, maybe you can't toke while traveling. But it's ok to take it with you.

Oregon officials have now given the ok for passengers to board flights at Portland International Airport with up to an ounce of dope on their person - as long as they're not leaving the state.

So, if you're flying from Portland to Pendleton, it's ok.  The reason you cannot take legal Oregon pot with out outside the state line is because of federal law. It's still illegal to fly with marijuana.  It's considered drug smuggling.

Oregon law allows those 21 and older to possess pot, and cannot possess more than an ounce on the flight.  The presumption is people will want to take it with them, and then light up wherever they are traveling to.

Cheech and Chong would be soooo proud!
