Police have released some surveillance images of a man and woman accused of breaking into a number of cars at the Gold's Gym parking lot in Richland, then using those cards on a spending spree.

Friday, police say the woman stole wallets from vehicles, then used a credit car at Target. Then on Sunday, the pair used the card at both Walmart and Target to buy $1,000 worth of gift cards.

Previous information from Richland police indicates they may have committed similar act a couple of days earlier.

Police say anyone with any information is asked to call (500)-628-0333. All leads are confidential.

They say this type of scheme is common, thieves will use the credit or debit cards to buy gift cards, which provide at least some sort of 'protection' because they don't require ID. Then the thieves can destroy the evidence, as in the cards.
