Health Food Store Robber Sports Distinctive Sweatshirt

Kennewick police were not able to catch up to a health food store robbery suspect, but unless he changes clothes, he'll be easy to spot.

Sgt. Ken Lattin of the Kennewick Police Department reports just prior to noon Thursday, they were called to the GNC (General Nutrition Center) at 2819 Kennewick Ave. about a robbery. The store is next to the Safeway store at Kennewick Ave. and Highway 395.

The suspect, a white male in his 20's entered, displayed a gun, and got away with cash from the register. He was wearing jeans, had a goatee, and a dark colored sweatshirt with the letters "PAW" across the front.

Unfortunately, the store does not have a surveillance camera, so no pictures were available.  Anyone in the area who may have seen the suspect in the area or has any information is asked to call (509)-628-0333, the non-emergency dispatch number.
