Help A Local Baseball Team Make it to Babe Ruth State Tournament

Saturday, from 9a-2pm  these hard-working kids will get your vehicle spotless! Team is pictured after just having won the District Championship.

The Kennewick Babe Ruth 15-year-old All-Stars will be having a benefit car wash Saturday in the parking lot of the Shari's Restaurant on Columbia Center Blvd,  from 9am until 2pm - or until the soap runs out!

The team is made up on 15-year old players who were chosen to represent the Kennewick program at Districts and State.  There's also several 14-year olds who were asked to "play up" on the team.

They won the District title last week with a win over Richland, and will head to Chehalis for the State Tournament starting July 23rd.   Should they place high enough,  they could also make it to Regionals the 1st. week of August in Baker City, OR.    The team has a good chance of doing well at state.   From regionals,  the top teams head to Nationals in Florida.

So come by and help out a group of athletes make it to the State Tournament!
