Wednesday night homeowners in Moses Lake were awakened by their dog, and checked outside to see two people rummaging around in their garage. The police were called and came to the house around the 400 block of Road 18.5-Northeast. The homeowners apparently startled the would-be burglars who fled on foot (leaving their car near the home).

Deputies and the K-9, Chika, tracked the suspects for about an hour when Chika found Jeremy S. Tracy and held him until the deputies could take him in to custody. The other suspect is still at large, but Chika caught at least one! Way to go, girl. Tracy was treated to dog bites, and held for suspicion of Second Degree Burglary.
