Russell Wilson continued his 4th quarter comeback mastery adding another chapter to his storied career leading the Seattle Seahawks to a thrilling, back-and-forth, 30-27 road win at the Carolina Panthers that felt like a playoff game, and by the end of the season with the complicated tie breaking situations, it just might turn out to have been one.

Wilson found David Moore for the game-tying score late in the 4th, and after the Seattle D made a stand, the usually reliable Panthers place-kicker Graham Gano missed a 52-yard field goal.

On the ensuing drive Wilson bought time in the pocket and again found Tyler Lockett (5 catches, 107 yards, 1 TD) for a long strike that set up Sebastian Janikowski's 31-yard game winning field goal as time expired.

The Seahawks are now 6-5 and coming down the stretch of their schedule with the heavy remainder (4 out of 5) of their contests at home. The lone road game is against the woeful 49ers. And the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16? It's entirely possible at that point in the season KC might not have much left to play for probably having long clinched their playoff spot. I know, wishful thinking, but still.

The Hawks played their most impressive game of the season exactly when they had to have it. Frustrating losses against the Chargers and twice against the Rams showed the Hawks were close the league's elite, but in those contests, they just couldn't get over the hump.

Last week, against the Packers, Seattle started to turn that tide versus Green Bay as the Seahawk defense forced the Packers into a late fourth quarter three-and-out and then ran out the last four minutes on the clock.

This week, Seattle snapped the Panthers' 10 game home winning streak dating back to last year.

The Seahawks are for real, and the 12's are real happy.
