What began as a domestic violence-disturbance call turned into an easy arrest for Kennewick police Monday night-early Tuesday morning. But here's where the story gets surprising!

Officers were called to the Heatherstone Apartments on 10th Ave in Kennewick  just after midnight, and found a domestic disturbance call was a verbal argument between a husband and wife.

However, after police contacted the couple, the anonymous citizen who had called it in walked up and told officers he wanted to turn himself in.  As it was, he had three outstanding arrest warrants that were two years old.  He told police, according to the Kennewick Police Facebook page:

"  The male stated that he was just ready to get things settled and was ready to accept responsibility for things that he had done in the past. We appreciated his attitude and honesty."

Here's hoping the guy gets things turned around, and at least from this encounter, it sounds like he's ready to change his life.  Good!
