Hotel Assault Sends Man to Hospital with Head Wound

Kennewick police continue to investigate an apparent assault that occurred early Friday at the Guest House International Suites on Clearwater in Kennewick.

When officers arrived at the hotel, in the 5600 block of Clearwater, they found a man suffering from a large laceration to his head, enough that he required a trip to the TRIOS Southridge Emergency Room. The man was found lying in the room, his current condition is not known.

Authorities say the assault stemmed from an argument he had with another man he'd been living with in the room, that according to the preliminary investigation.

They are working to identify the potential suspect, the investigation continues.
