For most of us, preparing the Thanksgiving turkey is pretty elementary...but for others, experimenting has led to a series of do's and don'ts when it comes to prepping and cooking the big bird.

Would you believe paper bags,  microwaves, and crockpots have all been tried, and are discouraged.  Turkey is a lot less forgiving than some meats, so you do need to be careful.   Oh, and when cleaning the bird, remember-don't use bleach!
