It took crews hours to get the road cleared, but fortunately nobody was injuried. Now, officials continue investigating how a Walla Walla area grain elevator collapsed, sending a 'grainslide' across a road.

Lower Waitsburg Road near Walla Walla was closed for on Nov. 24 after one of the grain elevators breached. The collapse caused a huge slide of grain, 8-feet deep in some places, across the road completely blocking it.

The subsequent rush of grain caused the rest of the elevator to collapse. Nobody was injured. To put the slide in perspective, check out the car sitting on TOP of the pile of grain.

It is not known how many tons of grain were released, but most of it's ruined.
