The last time we heard about something like this, it was in 2014 and a guy tried using a lifesize cutout  of the Dos Equis Beer pitchman. This time, it was a scary Halloween doll.

From time to time, people try to use mannequins, dolls or other devices to "trick" law enforcement officers so the motorists can drive in the car pool lane. This time, a Washington State Patrol trooper caught this motorist on I-5 using a Halloween doll.

Trooper Guy Gill took a picture and posted it on the WSP Twitter page. The "bust" occurred during the Tuesday morning commute on I-5 near Tacoma. Guy issued the standard $136 dollar ticket, but joked on the Twitter feed they gave the unnamed driver a "break" for not having the small doll in a child safety seat.
