Washington State Patrol officials continue to investigate a one-vehicle crash that killed a Pasco man early Monday morning.

Around 2:45 am a Ford Pickup driven by 23-year-old Leighton Rowe was Eastbound near Easton (about 30 miles West of Ellensburg) when the vehicle left the road, crashed through a barbed wire fence, hit a tree, and then caught fire.

Authorities did not release any other information as to why the crash occurred. State troopers did not say if Rowe fell asleep at the wheel. More details are expected to be released soon.
