A music researcher made a startling and disturbing discovery about ice cream trucks -- or rather the song that they play. It's racist. Really racist. So racist I can't go into detail.

In 1916 a songwriter wrote lyrics to the tune "Turkey in the Straw" called, "N***** Love A Watermelon Ha! Ha! Ha!" The folk song "Turkey in the Straw" was not popular in America until the 1916 song popularized it.

The lyrics to this 1916 song are so racist I can't give them to you here. You'll have to read the original story. Once you read the lyrics you'll never think of an ice cream truck the same way!

But who can think about ice cream without their mouth drooling? I gotta have one of those pink strawberry cheesecake bars -- or maybe those lemonade pops! Those Reese's Cups are the bomb, too.
