A woman is behind bars after leading police through a "slow speed" chase through Walla Walla but never drove faster then 30 miles per hour. That woman, identified as Charlotte Albert racked up quite a list of charges for her driving and now faces charges of second-degree assault, felony eluding, second-degree malicious mischief, hit-and-run and reckless driving.

Police first tried to pull her over for not signaling when switching lanes, but she kept driving and refused to stop. Police followed her for a while trying to pull her over and eventually used spike strips, although that did not stop her car either. She continued to drive with blown out tires and at that point police gave up the chase because of the danger to citizens in the area. The quickly found her again in a less populated area and finally stopped her car after trying to spin her out 3 times with another police car.

After they finally pulled her out of the car and arrested her, she claimed people were trying to take her "skin off" and had to be taken to the hospital. Police believe she was under the influence of a substance and are waiting for the toxicology reports.
