Is Arson Suspected in Benton City Car Fire?

Benton County sheriff's and fire officials continue to investigate a blaze that badly damaged a Mercedes Benz and another vehicle in Benton City two days ago.

Fire crews responded to a home on 13th street to find this car engulfed in fire. Another car parked nearby was also damaged.

The owner says the car was not driven for several months, and there were no issues that would have caused it to catch fire.

The investigation continues. No word on the dollar value of the damage, but likely totaled.
