Jack Didley’s Bouncer Charged With Assaulting Ben Ensign in July 4 Incident

Kennewick Police are charging night club Jack Didley's bouncer Matthew Hibbard with third-degree assault with aggravated injuries for his treatment of Ben Ensign on July 4.

Ensign went to the club after watching a fireworks show. Bouncers asked him to leave for disruptive behavior. He got back in and the bouncers allegedly picked him up by his neck and feet and dropped on the sidewalk outside. Benton County Superior Court is ordering Hibbard, who was holding Ensign's neck, to appear in court Aug. 9 to face the assault charges.

Ensign is in a coma at Kadlec Hospital in Richland.
