It's difficult for law enforcement to deliver justice when nobody wants to talk!

A Kennewick man has been taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with a non-life threatening eye injury after what police say was possibly an assault sometime in the last 24 to 36 hours.

Kimmeth Jack Irwin Jr. checked himself into the Emergency Room at Kennewick General Hospital Wednesday afternoon, suffering from a significant eye injury. Due to the nature of the wound, KGH officials reported it to police. Irwin claims he woke up with the injury and doesn't know how it occurred, but it was serious enough he was taken to Seattle.

Police say the investigation into the incident at 1212 West 10th in Kennewick is hindered because several people who frequent the victims apartment aren't talking to police, and neither is the victim.

Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who might have heard or seen a disturbance or knows any information to call 509-586-TIPS.
