Kennewick Crime Team Investigates 12-Year-Old Child Abuse Allegations

More details are expected to be released, but a 64-year-old Prescott man is in the Benton County jail facing charges from alleged child molestation that occurred some 12 years ago.

Kennewick officials say the Criminal Investigative Division began to look into the allegations that were brought to their attention, concerning 64-year-old Ignacio Diaz.

He was identified as a possible suspect, then was contacted at his home in Prescott and arrested on suspicion of three counts of Child Molestation. The crimes allegedly occurred 12 years ago. The incidents occurred at a home in the 1700 block of West 3rd in Kennewick.
