According to fire officials and our news partner KNDU-TV, it could be a few days before the cause of the fire is known.

     Shortly after 11am Wednesday, fire crews were called to 3312 West Metaline  in Kennewick for a report of a house fire.

Kennewick police told Newstalk 870, and according to KNDU-TV, the fire began on the backside of the home, likely on a porch, where a number of items were stored. The fire climbed the porch, the back wall, and went into the attic area.

Fire crews were busy extinguishing the blaze, then the investigation will start. Officials don't know what the cause was yet, no reports of injuries.
