Not a lot of details about the specifics of the arrest have been released, but Kennewick K-9 units were able to locate over 25lbs. of drugs hidden in a vehicle. Units are pictured with the confiscated drugs.

Kennewick police reported Tuesday that 15 pounds of methamphetamine, two pounds of heroin and 4 kilos of cocaine were sniffed out and discovered in a hidden compartment inside a vehicle.

It's presumed perhaps few details were released because often these busts are part of ongoing operations, and there are still suspects or operations under surveillance. Police urged citizens who know of or may suspect drug-related activity in their neighborhood to contact police, and it can be done anonymously by calling (509)-585-4208.

Pictured are the K-9 units who discovered the drugs.
