Some additional information has surfaced about the abduction of a Walla Walla woman from the parking lot of Winco Foods in Kennewick Thursday morning.

Police now say they have arrested the husband of 22-year-old Samantha Noethe.  Paul Gross was the main suspect in her disappearance. Authorities say they are married and have children. Authorities still don't know the motive.

Around 6:50 a.m. Thursday Kennewick police responded to a disturbance call in which witnesses said Noethe was driving frantically in the parking lot at Winco Foods, and hit four or five other vehicles. When police arrived she was gone, but learned from surveillance video she was trying to elude several  cars who were trying to box her in.  She was taken from her black BMW and placed in another car that left.

Gross has been jailed for unlawful imprisonment, a class C felony, for what is called Assault Domestic Violence. Noethe was found in a hotel room at the Kennewick Suites around 9:30am today; she was treated for bumps, bruises and abrasions sustained when she hit other cars with her car in the Winco parking lot. She was trying to escape being boxed in by Gross prior to her abduction.
