Kennewick Overnight Shooting Gang Related, Say Police

Just after 10:30pm Thursday night, Kennewick police received a report of a person who had been shot.

Juan C. Carillo, was in a car traveling near Park Hills Drive and South Olympia Streets, and it was apparently being followed by another vehicle.

Near that intersection, someone in the following car fired several shots into the victim's vehicle. Carillo was struck by one of the bullets, and was taken to TRIOS Southridge ER, but didn't sustain any life-threatening wounds.

The suspect vehicle was described as a blue mid 90's sedan with tinted windows. The investigation continues. Police say it was definitely gang-related, and not a random act.
