Kennewick Parks and Rec Announce Summer Fun Daycamp

Kennewick Parks and Recreation Department has the solution for boredom: Summer Fun Day Camp.

For children ages 5 through 12, the camp runs June 12 through August 16 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. It features active games, science projects, field trips, crafts and more! For working parents, there's an additional 3 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. option as well.

Registration will take place for the camp May 18, at the Southridge Sports Complex from 9 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. That Saturday, save an additional $50 off the price of the camp. Fee for city residents is $614 per child, but is good for all summer long. $914 for those who are non-city residents.

Weekly rates are available if a child cannot attend the entire camp AND if you live inside city limits and have financial difficulties. Financial aid for the camp is available.
