One would think driving 60mph through a 25mph zone would get the attention of police.

Kennewick police apprehended a 35-year-old man shortly after midnight Friday morning after he was seen speeding through the 1200 block of West 2nd. Ave.

Daniel C. Mitchell-Gorsuch was driving a silver passenger car through the neighborhood at least 40 mph over the posted limit.  After a brief chase in which Gorsuch reportedly reached 70,  he then pulled over for the officer, but fled on foot.

Gorsuch was chased into the backyard of a residence, where he was tasered after refusing to surrender.

Gorsuch probably fled because he was driving on a suspended license.  He was booked on five felony charges including reckless driving, resisting arrest and other charge.
