Kennewick Police Investigating Shooting, Assault

Tuesday night, a man was shot near the Grocery Outlet in Kennewick .

Shortly after 10pm, Police responded to a report of shots being fired in the 1300 Block of West 4th. Ave, but did not find any suspects or victims.

Then a short time later,  Lourdes Medical Center notified the KPD a man was brought in with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the lower body.  He was treated and released.  Police were able to determine the shooting occurred near the Grocery Outlet parking lot at 1325 West 4th. .   The identity and other information about the victim was not released.

Police did not say if the incident was gang related.
