Kennewick Police Still Seeking Hit-And-Run Driver, Fled Scene in Truck

The accident occurred around 9pm Friday night, April 1st, but as of Monday morning the driver was still at large.

Kennewick police are seeking the driver of a white pickup that ran into the van pictured here, causing extensive damage, then the truck sped off. The wreck occurred near Canal and Columbia Center Blvd., the truck was last seen heading South near 4th. and Columbia Center Blvd.

Witnesses described it as a large white newer-model Dodge. Anyone with any information is asked to call Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers at (509)-586-TIPS. Authorities have been busy checking area body shops and repair facilities as well.

No word if any people in the van sustained injuries. Police also staked out the two bridges across the Columbia for signs of the suspect vehicle, but are still searching.
