Kennewick Suspect Escapes After Holding Knife to Woman’s Throat

Police are looking for this man for assault, and theft.

Kennewick police are actively seeking William Cundiff, who's wanted for allegedly breaking into a woman's apartment. He then assaulted her and held a knife to her throat, then fled after stealing her cellphone and laptop. He also attempted to choke the woman.  The woman was able to call police after he fled.

The assault occurred in the 3000 block of West 4th early Monday. Anyone with any information is asked to call (509)-628-0333. All leads are confidential.
