Kennewick Woman Faces Charges Over Stabbing Other Woman in Eye
Although no details of the victim's specific injuries were released, the very nature of this assault makes it stand out.
Kennewick Police Corporal Joe Jackson said Wednesday 26-year-old Larissa R. Iracheta is in the Benton County jail on multiple charges after she was identified as the suspect in a recent stabbing.
Iracheta was taken into custody after police determined she stabbed Juliana Muradenes in the eye with a "blunt object" during an altercation March 7th, at 1903 West 5th in Kennewick. Some news reports indicate the object was a screwdriver.
Iracheta not only is facing a 2nd Degree Assault charge, but also First Degree Burglary. The Kennewick Police Department's Criminal Investigation Unit was able to gather the evidence to arrest Iracheta.
