A woman was robbed at gunpoint when a man tapped on her window with a gun and demanded she give him her purse. The robbery happened near the corner of 10th and Morain late Sunday evening and the suspect fled west on foot after according to news reports. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a piercing near his eye, but no age or other description was given.

Police say the woman acted correctly just giving the man her purse because it kept her safe by not fighting. They stress belongings can always be replaced so give them up and then call police. If you have any information about who the thief is call Crime Stoppers at 986-TIPS.
