A 70-year-old man having a diabetic emergency crashed his vehicle into a gas pump in New York state earlier this week. The surveillance video shows all the fiery explosions you would hope for, but an off-duty New York State Police officer dragging the man out of his car to safety.

This is one of those great stories where you have to ask, "What would I do?"

A man in a medical emergency crashes into a gas station. It knocks the gas pump over on top of a man who gets up and runs for safety. He then comes back and with flames licking everywhere he pulls the driver out and drags him to safety.

The collision plays bumper-car-style havoc on the other vehicles at the pumps. Everyone's first reaction must have been shock. Then they see the pump on fire! They scamble in a hurry before the explosions begin.
