Man Fatally Shot Outside Spokane Concert Venue Early Monday

Spokane authorities continue to investigate the shooting, which occurred just after midnight Monday.

According to Spokane police, dozens of people were in the vicinity of The Hop, a music and concert venue on North Monroe early Monday morning when shots reportedly rang out.

Police found an unidentified man with several gunshot wounds dead in the parking lot. Lincoln Street was blocked off for some time during the investigation. Authorities report many witnesses had accounts of what they heard, including shouting, and numerous shots being fired.
