Man Found Dead in Walla Walla Creek Identified

Authorities say the man's family had reported him missing hours earlier.

Walla Walla police now say they've identified the man who was found Sunday afternoon in the Mill Creek Channel.

31-year-old David Castillo had been reported by his family as missing, and had notified police. Authorities say they were alerted by a homeless man who found his body in the water, according to Yaktrinews.com.

Officials say the investigation is still open, they did not say if they know the cause of his death.
