Man Jumps To Death in Chinese Mall After Fight With Girlfriend Over Shopping! (VIDEO)

Breitbart and Tomo News are reporting a 38-year-old Chinese man plunged to his death after a heated fight with his girlfriend over her shopping!  

Apparently Tao Hsiao had hit his limit, after his girlfriend had been buying shoes and clothing for over 5 hours.   They were in a large mall in the city of Xuahau in Jiangsu Province when the argument began.  According to CCTV,  the man was heard telling the woman they already had more bags than they could carry, but she insisted on visiting one more store that had a shoe sale.   Hsiao reportedly told the woman she already had more shoes than she could wear in a lifetime, she accused him of being a skinflint and spoiling Christmas!

He became disgusted, threw the bags on the floor, then climbed over a railing, and plunged seven stories to the main level.   A statement from a mall spokesman summed it up but was rather cold in it's assessment:

 "His body was removed fairly quickly. He actually landed on one of the stalls below and then fell to the floor so although the store was damaged it meant he didn't hit anybody. This is a tragic incident, but this time of year can be very stressful for many people."

Of course it was good that no one else was injured, but nice to see they were just as worried about potential damage to the mall and making sure they got him out of there so it wouldn't disturb other shoppers!  Nice!   The video is courtesy of Tomo News via YouTube, and does contain some rather graphic images of the man lying on the floor after the fall. Police say they are investigating, and still searching for the girlfriend.
