It began with a man being arrested for shooting another customer in the leg because they bumped him, then the band fled (spooked by the gunfire) and upset customers rioted, some being arrested.

Pasco police have now sorted out an early Sunday morning series of incidents that occurred at the La Cabana Nightclub in the 600 block of North 27th. Shortly after midnight Sunday morning.

Police say 27-year-old Alex DeLeon of Pasco shot another man in the leg for allegedly 'bumping into' him, with the man having to be taken to the hospital. DeLeon was promptly arrested, he had been disarmed by security and they were holding him when police arrived.

However, the popular band that was supposed to perform reportedly got spooked by the gunfire, and packed up and left. They apparently took the 'gate' and cover charge money with them, the manager could not find it. Customers wanted their money back, but it was nowhere to be found. Several patrons got upset and became unruly, and they too were arrested for disorderly conduct.

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend an evening! Fortunately, nobody else was hurt other than the man shot in the leg.
