The most expensive, and possibly one of the closest, races in state history could do down to the wire-and beyond.According to recent numerous polls,  the race for Governor in Washington could go beyond election day.  Some $157 million has been poured into the state in efforts ranging from Inslee-McKenna, to R-74, Charter Schools,  legalizing marijuana, and others.

The race for governor could extend beyond election day, as most polls showed the two candidates in a dead heat-a tie.   Regardless of the outcomes, election 2012 will go down as one of-if not the most contentious, as well as expensive.
