Many agree it was one of, if not the worst, storm we've had in several years. Here's a video and some pics to show it.

Kennewick police had to actually close Canal Drive at Volland, when runoff from the storm overflowed the storm drains. Uber of Kennewick reports the water actually lifted the manhole cover off the drain.

The water finally drained out, but not before the road was closed for several hours. We decided to be silly and drive through town (actually had to run an errand) and we shot some footage of the beginning of the storm. It actually got worse about 30 minutes later.

No word of any significant property damage other than the home in South Richland that was set on fire by a lightning strike. Fortunately, no one injured.
