Motorcyclist Survives Hit-And-Run, Suspect at Large

Police have located the suspect vehicle, but the driver is still nowhere to be found.

Late Tuesday evening, a motorcycle rider was struck by a car, whose driver then fled the scene at the intersection of 27th and Quillan-right by McDonalds and Walmart.

Witnesses said the it was an older Chevy Camaro, driven by a younger looking white male. The woman riding the motorcycle was taken to TRIOS Southridge ER with non life-theatening back injuries. She is expected to be OK.

Thanks to the witness description and direction the vehicle left, police quickly located the suspect car, but as of early Wednesday, the driver still has not been found.
