It wasn't the actual homeowner who "got" this guy...

Kennewick police have a suspect in custody after a burglary in Canyon Lakes.   The residents at 1109 Canyon Lakes Drive arrived home around 7pm after being out of town all day Wednesday to find their home had been broken into.

The suspect apparently forced open a side door on their garage, then accessed the house, and made off with a variety of jewelry and electronics. However, the burglar's freedom was short-lived.

The victim's neighbor has an extensive video surveillance system and captured two suspects and their vehicle as they were walking from the residence, carrying a bag with the stolen items. Kennewick police were able to identify one of the suspects, as well as the white Nissan Pathfinder they were driving.

30-year-old Daniel H. Hunt of Pasco was later arrested after police began searching local motels, and he was found at the Sage and Sun in Pasco. A search warrant produced thumb drives belonging to the victims, as well as electronics.

Hunt is in the Benton County jail facing Burglary charges.  The investigation is still open as police are trying to identify the 2nd suspect, who is still at large.
