Never Mind the Hit And Run, Save the Beer! Suspects Seen Fleeing With Case

Kennewick police are searching for two guys with very warped priorities.

Around 8:45pm Wednesday night officers got reports of a red Pontiac doing burnouts in the area of  Fourth Avenue and Kellogg Street..

As officers were responding, new reports came in of a hit-and-run, and two men seen running from the scene carrying a case of beer!

A short time later the Pontiac, pictured here, was found abandoned nearby. It had apparently crashed trying to drive through the roundabout.

Preliminary investigation led police to believe the driver was traveling way fast, and couldn't make the curve.

The two suspects, described only as younger males, fled and as witnesses said, were carrying their beer.
