New Bill Would Double Prison Time For DUI Offenders-Agree? (Poll)

A new bill is headed to the desk of Governor Gregoire,  new harsh penalties for drunken drivers.

The bill would potentially double the prison time for those who are convicted of vehicular homicide while driving intoxicated (in other words, if they kill someone they could spend twice as long in jail). Although Washington has some of the toughest DUI laws in the state,  intoxicated driving-while falling-has not seen the rates decrease drmatically.  Take our poll on the issue:
