Despite all the symptoms (so far) of an e-coli issue being on the west side of the state, and some in Oregon,  Kennewick's Chipotle' restaurant has voluntarily closed temporarily.

Health Department officials say some 46 stores have been closed in the west linked to the outbreak of the virus that causes bloody bowel discharge and diarrhea and vomiting.

Clark, King, Skagit and Cowlitz counties are where the symptoms and cases have been found so far, but officials say anyone who ate at a Chipotle' in WA or OR between October 14 and 23rd should see their doctor to make sure they are not carrying the virus. It doesn't always immediately show up, say officials.

17 of the 19 recent cases ate at a Chipotle' according to the Washington State Department of Health. Two Oregon counties, Clackamas and Washington both on the west side, have reported cases.

Chipotle' operates about 1,700 restaurants in the U.S. and foreign countries. Officials did not say what the e-coli has been linked to, but it usually involves animal fecal material coming in contact with food that is to be processed for human consumption.
