You're not being nosy, you're looking out for your friends and neighbors. That's the message Pasco police wanted to convey after a citizen noticed a man lurking around their neighbor's home Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities were called to the 500 block of Road 38 around 1:40pm, and when they arrived they found 36-year-old Rhami Marshall had apparently broken into the home and taken some items.

The neighbor recognized Marshall as a person who had been living next door, but kicked out of the home by the occupants a few months ago. Police found signs of tampering and a break-in, then located Marshall not far from the home.

He had items on him that were taken from the house, he's now in the Franklin County jail facing burglary charges.  This arrest largely because a neighbor took the time to pay attention and called police when something 'just didn't look right.'

Officials say people will 'know' or sense when they see someone lurking around who doesn't belong, and it pays to keep an eye on them.
