We at Newstalk 870 have always said, if you don't vote, you can't complain about legislators or the "system."  Now, you can find out if your family, friends, and neighbors are exercising their right.

For the first time, the November election in WA state, will feature a way to check online to see if friends, neighbors, and family have voted.

The vote finder tracks ballots to see if registered voters have submitted them.  It will NOT  let anyone know HOW you voted, only that a ballot with YOUR name on it has been submitted.

Many elections will be decided by only a few hundred votes, so make sure you get yours turned in.   It could be a while before some races are decided, because we are vote-by-mail system, it takes a while to count.

But again, if you don't vote,  you can't complain.
