During his Midwestern Bus tour, Obama clashed with an Iowa TEA Party Leader yesterday, after the man asked him why his own VP Joe Biden referred to TEA Party members as “terrorists.”

Ryan Rhodes,  Hawkeye State TEA Party leader, asked Obama why he could call for more civility when his own VP called TEA Party members terrorists.  Obama replied that he has been called a socialist who was not born in this country, and he said he was all for toning down the rhetoric.  Watch the exchange here from USA Today.  Biden has since denied the claim of the terrorist comment, however, numerous media outlets have captured the words for public record.  Biden did say it , no matter his denials.  White House insiders have spent considerable time playing damage control due to gaffe after gaffe uttered by the VP.
